Jam Night 10282008
Well, as previously mentioned, we managed to get one last practice in and none too soon. The big show was the next day and as it turned out we all showed up for Tuesday night and nobody else did. So it was a definite omen telling us we needed more practice. This is about as close as you are going to get to being there, unless you were there. Yes, I'm actually posting this a few days after we played the big gig and I gotta tell ya, it turned out to be a really good show. Whiting Tennis is a great guy and writes some incredible songs. Not to mention he's tall enough to clean your ceilings without a ladder. One other bonus was that we have video of the event and we intend to have it up here on the Jam Night Jukebox just as soon as I can figure out how. So stay tuned and get ready for a new trivia question. It's the least you can do to be able to check out our show from the comfort of your desk chair.

And while I'm at it, let me just put in my two cents worth of political commentary. Everybody needs to get out and vote. I don't care who you vote for, just get out there and do it. Don't pay attention to any polls, don't listen to your friends, don't listen to the pundits. Vote for what you think is best for America, not just yourself. Politicians working to make themselves and the rich richer at the expense of average working class men and women are how we got where we are now. There, I guess you know who I'm voting for. Rock (the vote) On -- DJ
