Jam Night 09292009
Welcome back to the Jam Night Jukebox. Tonight's Jam Night starts off with few old classics (traditionals?) by our fearless leader Scotty. We count on Scotty to keep us grounded in the songs of our forefathers, not that he's old or anything. You get a little taste of our "process" on the next song with Brad giving us the quick 2 minute breakdown of a song right before we kick it out like we knew it or something. From there Scotty kicks out another fairly traditional song, Sitting On Top Of The World. We proceed to do a Tom Petty song in keeping with our recent drive to incorporate more Tom Petty into the Jam Night, one more by Scotty and a great little song by Don Williams (and covered by some dude named Eric Clapton) called Tulsa Time. A quick trip through Memories Are Made of This by Johnny Cash and we hit the home stretch with a new one from one of, if the not the greatest bands of the 90s, Nirvana called Grandma Take Me Home.

If that's not a full line-up of hits, I don't know what else to do. As usual, the Jam Night Jukebox is your value leader in Jamming for the people. Hope you like it. -- DJ
