Here's another catch-up posting from late last July. Hard to believe it is already September but thankfully it's a three day weekend (here in the states). We'll have a special Sunday Beer jam this Sunday (how clever) since Brother Pat is coming into town for the annual Bro Classic. I'm looking to make this my fourth consecutive victory so wish me luck.
Meanwhile, in this Jam Night, we kick it off with a new one (for us) from Tom Petty. We don't do enough Tom Petty so this is an attempt to broaden our repertoire. From there we kick into a bunch of Jam Night standards and a couple other new ones (for us) from Neil Young and The Beatles. And finally we wrap up with a rousing version of Hound Dog.
That should be plenty to keep you happy for the next couple weeks but if you're lucky I've still got a few more to post before I'm all caught up. Jam On!! -- DJ
