Scotty and a couple Gallinippers tonight along with a brand new jammers best friend book of 500 of the most famous(ish) county songs known to man. We gave several a good shot including what may be our first attempt at Blue Moon of Kentucky. I know, we were as surprised as you are. Just goes to show having the notes and lyrics is only half the battle.
On another uplifting note, my long journey searching for a pair of VL-M3s is finally over. I was contacted by the wonderful people at TASCAM north america and told that they have found a "trade show" pair of these little gems and they will soon be mine. This is great news and I can't tell you how impressed I am with the effort put forth to find these for me. If the products are as good as the people (which I have found they are) I highly recommend them. And please do not contact me wondering how you can get a pair for yourself. Write to TASCAM and tell them you want a pair. They were before their time and in my opinion they weren't given enough time for the word of mouth to build.
Anyhow, enough about me. We are diligently working on the mixes for the new CD and should have some tastes for you in the very near future. So stay tuned and keep on jammin'. -- DJ
